Pastor George W. Carelock, Jr., is a native of Monroe, NC. He retired after 20 years from the United States Army, on April 1, 2006. During his military career he met a wonderful woman named Joyce, and married her. Elder and Evangelist Carelock has three children: Minister Jamel (21), Brandon (16), and adopted daughter Melia.
Pastor Carelock accepted the Lord while attending Panzer Gospel Service, in Stuttgart, Germany, on January 1, 1989; he received minister license in November 2001, while stationed in St. Louis, MO. He was ordained as elder in 2002. His educational background are as follows: Associate of Arts General Studies; Bachelor Science Business Management, and currently he is pursuing a Master degree Public Administration.
Pastor Carelock stepped out in faith by saying “YES” to God in April 2009. He believes the church is a hospital to the sick, wounded, hurt, neglected and those who have lost hope, and the word of God is able to heal. He takes his charge seriously, with the conviction that the people belong to God. He feels God’s grace and mercy is necessary in order to live a victorious life in this present world. Elder Carelock admonishes the people of God to trust God at all times and lean not to their own understanding.
