Lady Joyce Carelock is a native of Maxton, NC. She served in the United States Army for nine and half years. She has been in ministry for over 23 years. She is the wife of Pastor George W. Carelock, Jr., Grace and Mercy Church of God in Christ; a growing ministry with greatness imprinted in the hearts, of the leaders. At her local church she serves as: President of Prayer and Bible Band; President Sunday School department, Women's Department Leader, Member of Missions, Outreach and Evangelism Leader. She is a mother of three miracle children: Minister Jamel (21), Brandon (16); and adopted daughter Melia. Joyce is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Development (expected 'May '12); and Masters Arts Professional Counseling - (Liberty University). She has earned the following degree's: Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies - Dec. '10 (Fuller Theological Seminary); Masters Science Administration Justice & Security - May '09 (University of Phoenix); Bachelor Science Business Management Oct. '07 (University of Phoenix); and Associates Arts May '05 (University of Alaska Anchorage). Joyce received numerous certificates for training and ministry within the Churches of God in Christ, Inc.
Evangelist Carelock has traveled within the United States and abroad spreading the message of hope. Her unique presentation and enthusiasm of the gospel has enabled her to minister to various denominations and organizations. She is the author of FOUR books entitled: Church Hurts Can Make You Bitter or Better: You Choose; Church Hurts Workbook; On My Way Down I Looked UP & Grace Found Me In Lodebar; and Youth Halted between Bad Choices and God’s Purpose.
Joyce Carelock Ministries is an organization that helps hurting families within the community. Joyce Carelock Ministries stimulates emotional and spiritual healing, while providing information to many people on how to cope with life disappointment. Lady Carelock’s purpose is to encourage people to walk in God’s purpose and plan for their individual lives. Her goal is to equip the people of God to be freed, empowered, and effective vessels of God’s love, mercy and grace in a time such as this.
